These are all fantastic events for your colleagues and customers to take part in, have a brilliant time, win a real sense of achievement, and raise money to help fund the life-saving and life-changing work of the Red Cross not only in countries around the world, but also right here in Yorkshire.

Great Manchester Run (10km) – 10 May

Just started running as part of your New Year Resolution? This is the perfect event to enter and give yourself something to aim for. A brilliant 10k through the city centre with bands playing and huge crowds to keep you going. £25 registration, £150 sponsorship – www.redcross.org.uk/gmr

The Orbit Abseil – 17 May

Determined to try new and exciting things in 2015? Or to conquer your fears? Look no further than the world’s biggest helter-skelter! The Orbit stands at a massive 376ft (115m) tall, was designed by Turner Prize winner Sir Anish Kapoor, and dominated London 2012. Very limited places, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Nightrider – 6-7 June

An awesome event for anyone keen on two wheels and something different. This 100km moonlit ride is the chance to see London like never before. From Crystal Palace via fifty London landmarks, on closed roads just for you. All done in time for breakfast !

Yorkshire 3 Peaks – 18 July 2015

Why go anywhere else, when one of the best treks in the world is right here in Yorkshire? 24 miles and three mountains in the Yorkshire Dales. Walk one, two or three peaks on this marshalled walk and receive exclusive Red Cross medals and certificates. Suitable for individuals, pairs and ideal for teams.
